About Studio Moksha

Our studio is founded on the principle that the purpose of design extends far beyond just aesthetics. It should aim to enrich the human experience, elevate our environments, and liberate souls. That is why we chose to name our studio "Moksha", which derives from the Sanskrit word for liberation. It represents our commitment to creating spaces that promote well-being and foster a deep connection with nature.

Samantha Lim is a landscape designer whose experiences range from landscape architecture and project management in Malaysia, to interior design in London. The projects she has managed in the past include residential bungalows and condominiums, commercial works such as landscaping for hotels, master-planning for a resort to show gardens on a global scale. She graduated with First Class Honours in Interior and Spatial Design from Chelsea College of the Arts London in 2018 and has since worked in several interior design firms in London. She then embarked on her next journey as a landscape designer at Inchscape Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur before establishing Studio Moksha.

Samantha has won an award at the Shenzhen Composite Art of Flower Pot Design Competition in May 2021 and was also featured for a garden she designed and built in April 2022 for the "Green Crashers" Show on HGTV (Discovery Asia Channel) during her time at Inchscape.

Her long term goal is to continue creating imaginative designs that express stories of man’s connection to the natural world and she is open to collaborating on projects that align with her values and unique approach.
